Fiordland Lodge holds a reputation as Fiordland’s leading dining destination and boasts the only restaurant in the area with views out over Lake Te Anau into the Fiordland National Park. The dining experience from Fiordland Lodge has become a signature experience of a lodge stay and diners and house guests are invited to wander our potager garden, forage for native flavours and embrace our kitchen team in the process. Complimenting the cuisine, the lodge has 2 large wine cellars with a comprehensive wine list, each vintage having a story to tell and carefully selected by the lodge owner who shares a deep passion for wine growing.
Please note for the winter months of July and August 2021 we are operating a bar style menu as opposed to our normal 4 course menu.
A regional approach to food from head chef Fran Fioriti ensures the finest and freshest produce from Fiordland and Central Otago is showcased in every menu combining superb quality ingredients matched to a wine list which features some very special vintages showcasing predominantly Central Otago wineries.
