DELUXE
Three Nights Accommodation at Fiordland Lodge
&
Coach & Cruise to Milford Sound
&
Helicopter Flight over
Dusky Sound & Doubtful Sound
Day One:
Experience the solitude and remoteness of Dusky Sound and Doubtful Sound with a spectacular Helicopter Flight, including two mountain landings. Dusky Sound, encompassing 365 islands, is the largest and most spectacular of the Fiords. Deserted now, it was the site of much early Maori and European history. Captain Cook visited here in March 1773. When airborne you will overfly three more fiords before returning via Doubtful Sound, and Campbell's Kingdom. Enjoy scenery on an EPIC scale. Duration of flight 1 hour 30 mins.
Day Two:
Enjoy a memorable “unhurried” day excursion to Milford Sound on a small coach, maximum group size 12. Explore spectacular alpine scenery along the way, then once there board Real Journeys's new and modern small-vessel “MV Sinbad”. Passenger numbers are restricted to ensure a high quality personalised experience, and attentive service. Comfortable coaches with unrestricted views from every seat. Enjoy an informative commentary and numerous photographic stops as you drive on one of the worlds most impressive alpine scenic roads.
Return to Fiordland Lodge late afternoon.
Optional Extras:
Te Anau Glowworm Caves Evening excursion.
Season: All year.
